| We welcome all families to Millikan and ask that you become involved with our wonderful Booster Club! Millikan Booster Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation whose primary objective and goal is to raises money for items and services that are not provided by LAUSD or the PTA. Millikan Booster club is an off shoot of PTA and serves as the Main fund-raising entity for Millikan. The monies raised help to subsidize the school and administration during the budget crisis. Some of the various ways we provide service include but are not limited to the following: · Scholarships for Academy trips/dance trip to Palm Springs · School buses for field trips · Substitute Teachers · Teacher requests (i.e. video equipment) · Educational Materials Millikan Booster Clubs raises funds through numerous fund-raising activities, such as: Pledge Drive · Fall Festival · Concession Sales · Spring Event · Corporate Donations · Corporate Matching Grants · Live and Silent Auctions The Millikan Booster Club meets once a month in conjunction with the PTA. These Monthly PTA Meetings are held on the third (3rd) Wednesday of every Month in the Millikan Library. M illikan's Booster Club strives to enhance the feeling of community at Millikan. We aspire to coordinate the needs of teachers and staff with parent and community donors.
